Like always, this new release is focused on improving productivity and efficiency and providing a seamless experience to its users. It brings improvements to some of the existing features requested by customers including application improvements, integration with Microsoft Power Platform, and management of licensing and permissions by administrators.
The improvement to Bank Reconciliation is exciting and allows you to easily see how the automatic application rules have been applied to the bank reconciliation features. Now, you can cancel a bank reconciliation that was posted with errors from the Back Acc. Reconciliation page, and then run a new bank reconciliation report from the Bank Statements page.
Another great improvement is Dimension Corrections - you can now edit dimensions for the General Ledger. You can correct the dimension value, add new dimensions or remove them on the posted entries. This release also brings more control for accountants, controllers, and finance users over the settings for Default Dimensions. The enhancements to the Payment Reconciliation Journal will improve efficiency by supporting applications against employee ledger entries, having posting preview on the journal, separate number series, etc.
