How to Take Collections Notes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

There are two different options when it comes to taking notes with the collections module in the iSolutions app - a header level, which applies to the customer record, or an invoice specific note. Here's how to take these notes:

How to Take Collections Note at Header Level

Start opening up Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and going to the customer record. From there, click “Actions,” followed by “Collections.”

 

From here, you can click “Note.”

This is where you can place a note on the customer’s account at the header level.

 

 

How to Take an Invoice Specific Collections Note

Start opening up Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and going to the customer record. From there, click “Actions,” followed by “Collections.”

 

From here, you can select the invoice you would like to make a note under and then click “Note.”

 

 

Type in your note under the “Remarks” section.

 

You can then view the note by scrolling over to “Last Remark.”
