Set Up, Manage, and Track Your Marketing Campaigns in Dynamics 365 Business Central

Marketers have a lot of data to manage, and staying on top of it all can be a challenge. But with Dynamics 365 Business Central, it’s easier than ever for marketing managers to create, manage, and track campaigns, gaining valuable insight into campaign performance and profitability.

With just a few clicks, Business Central allows marketers to perform research, set up a campaign, assign a target audience, activate the campaign, and track campaign response and performance.

Conducting Research with Microsoft Cloud Apps

The best marketing campaigns start with the right research. With the help of Microsoft’s cloud-based apps, you can quickly gather information about company successes, personnel, and inventory. Plus, it’s easy to get an overview of existing campaigns.

Want to review the work of the marketing team? Microsoft Teams makes it easy, and all it takes is a couple of clicks from the Business Central dashboard to get started. Need more info? Open important files in SharePoint and make notes as you go with the Notebook feature.

Creating a Marketing Campaign

Once the research is done, you can quickly create a marketing campaign right from Business Central. By specifying the campaign description, status code, and start and end dates, you’ll be well on your way to tracking the campaign’s progress.

Choosing a Target Audience

After setting up a campaign in Dynamics 365 Business Central, you can assign a relevant target audience in seconds. From within the Campaign Card screen, you have the option of populating a Segment with the existing contacts, making it easy to ensure that your campaign targets the right leads or customers.

Activating Your Campaign

Once you’ve set up a campaign and assigned a target audience, you can launch the campaign from the Business Central dashboard. Want to market to your audience? With the campaign launched, it’s easy to send an attachment (such as a white paper) to your contacts from within Business Central.

Tracking Your Campaign

Tracking your campaign’s progress is essential, and Business Central simplifies the process. The Statistics screen displays the number of contacts targeted by a campaign, the campaign response rate, the overall cost, and more.
