Today, we hear all kinds of things about cloud deployment, paying per user, pay as you go, and software as a service (SaaS). Some people are concerned about having their data in the cloud and want it to be more private. Many solutions provide two choices: hosted in the cloud or installed on-premise on your server. Microsoft Dynamics lets you do both, and you can change between the two. To protect your investment, you should choose a solution that gives you multiple deployment options—hosted in the cloud or installed on the infrastructure you already own with the option to change later. After all, your needs may change after the initial installation.
