It’s a bird… it’s a plane… it’s Rockton Software in the cloud!
Almost synonymous with the buzzword, digital transformation, is a two word phrase: the cloud.
Sidebar: Am I the only one that says “the cloud” like the group of plush aliens from Toy Story that live inside the prize machine at Pizza Planet say “the claw”? If you’re not sure what I’m talking about, here’s a refresher clip, enjoy!
More and more solutions now include a cloud offering and so do we! Did you know Rockton Software is cloud compliant? In fact, any location you are able to install your Dynamics GP product, you will also be able to install Rockton products to that same location.
The installation is no different for installing Rockton products in the cloud than it is for an on-premise system. Before installing, double check that you are able to have full Administrator rights on the cloud service to install. This Knowledge Base article can help with any install questions.
Essentially, having the products installed in the cloud, along with your Dynamics GP solution will work the same as having the products locally installed. The only difference is that users will log in to the cloud to access Dynamics GP, which in turn includes the Rockton products.
If you and your team are considering a move to the cloud, we hope you’ll take us with you, to infinity and beyond!
