Year-End Processes in GP

  • with Scott Wardzinski

With the calendar year-end quickly approaching, we start to think about the year-end process in GP. And for many of us, this also means our fiscal year end close as well.

If you have not run these processes before, or want a refresher... we will be covering the year-end closing for the PM, RM and GL modules in the video below.

There were also a couple of questions asked during the webinar. The YE Close for RM and PM does just move the summary information from Year-to-Date to the Last Year column. Any reports or SmartLists you have that pull this summary data will also reflect this update information, because the summary information was updated.

For the PM close, while the 1099’s are not directly dependent on this process, and the Year-to-Date summary is adjusted during the process, it can make it easier to verify the data on your 1099’s for the year.

Hope you found this useful!
