KEY2ACT is looking toward the future and is committed to helping you advance your business and the technology you use to operate. Functionality that seemed like something for the distant future is now a thing of today and can help you better manage your business. The next release, Signature Release R2 and MobileTech 5.5, will be released December 20, 2016. You'll also be seeing an update to the Graphical Schedule Board that gives it a more up-to-date look and feel.

New Modules

New modules will soon be released that you will receive at no charge as long as you’re current on your enhancement. Each new module is built on the cloud platform and can be used if you’re operating KEY2ACT and Microsoft Dynamics GP in the cloud, or on-premise.

  1. ACT. This module is still currently in the development stage. Once released, this state-of-the-art integration tool will relay information from various sources to a multitude of set destinations. Information streams in from facility management solutions, monitoring devices and other inputs you determine. From there, you will be able to set trigger actions that will allow that information to be automatically relayed to designated recipients.
  2. SEE. This functionality truly is the future of the industry. This allows techs to use smart glasses to automatically capture pictures and videos where they’re working. That data is then fed directly into KEY2ACT software. Thanks to this technology, field technicians can record tutorials for training purposes and techs can even stream their live view to the office where someone can walk them through the steps they need to take to complete the job.
  3. KNOW. Users can leverage Microsoft Power BI to analyze and visualize KEY2ACT data through personalized dashboards. Users will be able to configure their own dashboards with predesigned tiles, or have KEY2ACT custom design tiles to suit specific reporting needs.
  4. CLOCK. Through this improved time clock, you can accurately capture, monitor, approve and post time and expenses. This is included for free if you currently own TimeTrack and are current on your enhancement. This will replace eTimeTrack.
