With the transition of Convergence to Envision, Amplify is born. A collaboration between GPUG and Microsoft, creating an event for users to attend and receive one-on-one feedback from Microsoft, as well as meet and engage with other Microsoft Dynamics GP end-users.
Our team, Rockton Software, is a Platinum Sponsor at Amplify, and we’re excited to be headed to Anaheim, CA. We can’t wait to soak up some much needed sunshine! Outside of attending Amplify, there are plenty of opportunities for an adventure. Check out our must-see and to-do list:
In-N-Out Burger
If you’ve never been to the west coast, particularly California or Arizona, you might not know of the greatest fast food chain around . . . In-N-Out Burger. Their burgers, fries, and shakes are too good to pass up! There is one located about 3 miles from the Convention center, just be sure to have a little extra time—it’s normally pretty packed!
Disneyland
I mean who doesn’t love the magic of Disney? Disneyland is about a mile and a half walk from the Convention center. Disneyland is really similar to the Magic Kingdom Park at Disney World, and California Adventure is somewhat a mix of the other parks. My favorite ride is Soarin’ Over California, which is in California Adventure.
Newport Beach
If you’re renting a car at Amplify, or you could even take an Uber, it’s less than 20 miles away and a 30 minute drive! Totally worth it to see the Pacific Ocean and eat at the Crab Cooker. The Crab Cooker is a local seafood joint that you can’t go wrong with, and it’s ranked #8 on Trip Advisor. Get your order to-go, head to the beach, and watch a sunset. You won’t be disappointed.
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim See Mike Trout live! If you’re flying in on Sunday, May 22nd, the Anaheim Angels are playing the Baltimore Orioles at 12:35 PM. A great way to break out your shades, eat some delicious food, and catch a ball game. Plus, you will get to see one of the best players in the league!
We can’t wait to see you at Amplify! Don’t miss this great opportunity brought to us by GPUG and Microsoft from May 23 - 25th. It’s a time and space for end-users to connect with peers and Microsoft employees.
