We’re flying out to Reno in a few weeks for the annual Microsoft Dynamics User Group Summit Conference, as are many of you. We enjoy attending Summit every year and will be returning this year as a Premiere Sponsor of GPUG.
Why do we go back year after year?
- Networking: At Summit, we have the opportunity to meet-and-greet prospective customers and partners, current clients and partners, industry experts and other great people. Networking with a variety of people is a great opportunity for us to get feedback about our product, develop new ideas and make connections with people in the Microsoft Dynamics arena. Plus, we always come home with new friends!
- Product demonstrations and deep-dive sessions: Sessions give us the opportunity to showcase our product and give people an inside look at exactly how it works. Rather than attending a whole-product overview, you can also attend deep-dive sessions that delve into a specific function of your product of interest that you may be unfamiliar with.
- Fun: Between the receptions, parties, sessions and expo, there’s a lot of fun to be had at Summit! And if attending conference-hosted parties isn’t quite your thing, Reno has plenty of activities to offer. After you’ve been working or attending sessions all day, attending receptions is a great way to relax and connect with people while enjoying some great food or a cocktail.
- Camaraderie and competition: If you’re exhibiting, odds are you will find some of your competitors at Summit. And that’s ok! Being in the same place at the same time is a great way for you to connect with your competition (civilly, of course!), and learn about what they’re up to, how business has been and what new products or features they’ve developed. Doing this may help you come up with new ways to market your product, and they may be good people to bounce new ideas off of. And just because you’re the competition doesn’t mean you can’t be friends!
We look forward to seeing many of you at the Conference!
