Microsoft Dynamics AX is a comprehensive ERP solution, primarily for midsized to large, multinational firms focused on manufacturing. It is designed to empower your people to work effectively and compete globally. Microsoft Dynamics AX makes it easy to operate across locations and countries, but only if everyone is on the same page regarding the terms they are using to communicate with each other.

Microsoft has provided an extensive glossary of Dynamics AX terms. Here are a few of the entries:

abend - The premature ending of a program because of a program error or system failure.

account - A chronological record that describes the changes in value classified as assets, liabilities, expenses, and revenue.

account balance - The difference between the sum of debit entries and the sum of credit entries entered into an account during a financial period.
