Email | Print

The continual development and commitment to this popular Enterprise Solution by Microsoft has resulted in the latest release of Microsoft Dynamics NAV called Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015.  Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015 is here with many new enhancements designed to help your small to medium sized business streamline day-to-day operations and get more from your ERP system.  Quick to implement, easy to use and powerful functionality , Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015 is designed to help your company reach its goals.

Office 365 Integration: Microsoft Dynamics NAV provides a direct connection with Office 365, which enables customers to drill down, analyze, share and collaborate with peers.  And with new usability enhancements that make their solution easier and more familiar to use, NAV with Office 365 works seamlessly and effortlessly across all application

In Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015 investments continue in the integration with Office 365 by supporting:

  • Simplified email messaging via SMTP including Office 365
  • Sign in to the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Windows client using your Office 365 account

Simplified Email:

Microsoft has introduced a new feature called “Simplified Email with a Report Attachment”, which enables a uniform way of sending document reports as attachments from any client.

This is a simplified process of constructing emails with attachments from any client allowing the user extend the content from within Microsoft Dynamics NAV or a locally installed Outlook.

OAuth support

In Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015, introduces OAuth support on Microsoft Dynamics NAV web services (OData and SOAP) to support integration with Power BI and enable the sharing of BI content using refreshable Microsoft Dynamics NAV data feeds in O365.

OAuth support also improves the O365 and Microsoft Dynamics NAV single sign-on experience by extending it to the Power BI toolset so that a single set of O365 credentials can be used in all contexts (Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Power BI and O365).

Partners and ISVs will also be able to use the new OAuth capabilities to enhance and secure their own solutions and provide another way to integrate securely with O365 and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

  3. Susan Myers says:

Can Navision be manipulated to allow us the ability to view scanned AP invoice images? Can those images be “attached” to their respective voucher numbers?

Or, could the invoice images be brought into Navision using SharePoint software, and again, could they be “attached” to their respective voucher numbers?

    Thank-you,
    Susan Myers

It’s a nice feature, but please don’t call it to “Integration”.
It’s just O365 Authentication in NAV.

No E-mail Logging, no Outlook integration!
    They promised but…
