Even Small Businesses Have Big Problems; Microsoft Dynamics GP Will Solve Those Problems!

Email | Print

And the same applies for mid-sized business, too. If you’re a small or mid-sized business, I’m 100% sure that you have some big problems to solve. Bigger than which copy machine to buy or what color to paint your new conference room. Maybe you have a problem that isn’t as big as Toyota’s recall of 6 million cars! But you don’t need to compare yourself to Toyota.

Here are two problems that I believe many small and mid-sized businesses like yours are facing today:

1)      You’re trying to squeeze your company into accounting software that no longer fits.

2)      The inability to create accurate real-time reports is putting your business at risk.

Without the right business management system, these are big problems. That’s where Microsoft Dynamics GP comes to the rescue. With Microsoft Dynamics GP (formerly known as Great Plains) you have the ability to connect people, processes, and systems—all from one place. For example, your calendar, email, and business management systems all work together, because Microsoft Dynamics GP is a business solution that combines what you need to run your daily business with the tools you need to manage your day and collaborate with others.

Let’s circle back to the 2 issues I mentioned above, which can be summarized as “fit” and “risk.”

1)      Fit. If you wear a size 9 shoe, you won’t fit into my size 5 shoes, no matter how hard you try.  Think about Cinderella’s step-sisters and how hard they tried to fit their big feet into that tiny glass slipper. You can push and prod, but if you’re outgrown your current software (maybe you’re running QuickBooks or Peachtree), no shoe horn will help. In fact it may do more harm than good. You want a system that will scale with you as you grow. That’s why you need to know that even multi-national companies raking in hundreds of millions of dollars use Microsoft Dynamics GP.
2)      Risk. What is the risk of inadequate reporting? Let’s start with receivables. If you don’t know what your receivable are at any given moment in time, you’re in trouble. If you don’t know your inventory levels at any given moment in time, you’re in trouble. If it takes your IT department a week to pull a simple report, yes, you’re in trouble. And why is the IT department pulling the report for you in the first place? Because it’s too technically complicated for the CFO or the Controller to pull those reports? Whoa. Now you’re in big trouble. Microsoft Dynamics GP has reporting tools that are easy to use and don’t require customization, Java script, or code. GP’s reporting tools will give you the data you need to monitor every aspect of your business at every moment in time. That way, your carriage won’t turn into a pumpkin because you’ve missed a critical deadline.

Allow me to make a suggestion. If you can see yourself in either or both of the above scenarios, take a look at the prince charming of accounting and business management software systems - Microsoft Dynamics GP. No shoe horns required.
