For the second year, the Monday before Convergence will be Dynamics GRC Day, devoted, as the name suggests, to issues of governance, risk, and compliance. That will be Monday, March 3, 2014, in Atlanta. This conference is for anyone in risk management to get tips and strategies regarding security, risk, audit, compliance, and governance issues.
The day-long conference will cover the following:
• Why governance, risk, and compliance matter
• What security and controls are available out of the box in
• Identifying your organization's areas of risk
• The importance of moving from manual to automated controls
• How to conduct your own process mapping workshops, and strategies for using them in your Microsoft Dynamics environment
Dynamics GRC Day 2014 will run from 9 am to 4 pm. Business Process Mapping will be covered before lunch, and after lunch there is a Risk Assessment Workshop, followed by a session on Native Controls in a Microsoft Dynamics Environment.
A business process map is a key tool in any Microsoft Dynamics environment, assisting with not only risk management, but also with end user training, development, integrations, and documentation. In this session you learn how to conduct your own process mapping workshops, and how to use them in your Microsoft Dynamics environment.
The Risk Assessment Workshop is interactive, and shows you how to best conduct risk assessment to identify your company's areas of risk and risk appetite. You'll craft action plans and mitigation strategies. In the final session, Microsoft Dynamics experts go over key security features available in the latest releases.
