Computeration Announces the ZAP! Payables Integration Tool

Email | Print

Portland, Oregon, September 18, 2013 – Computeration, Inc. announces the ZAP! Payables Integration tool at the GP Technical Airlift in Fargo, ND. The tool extracts data from QuickBooks and integrates both open and historical detailed payables transactions fully posted into Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013. Credits and payments are fully applied for history transactions and are accompanied by corresponding GL account distributions for correct voiding after operational startup of Dynamics GP. Transactions can be stopped within Excel worksheets for review or change. ZAP! compliments Microsoft’s RapidStart tool, but doesn’t require RapidStart.

Technical experience is recommended for use of RapidStart, distributed through Microsoft Dynamics GP VARs for free use for clients. Equally, technical experience with integration tools is recommended when using ZAP!, but its learning curve is short because it features a user-friendly Excel interface and human-friendly error reporting with deletion and re-import capabilities. If one transaction in a chain of invoices and payments is incorrect, ZAP! traps the entire chain in the Excel worksheet for review, correction, and re-import.

The corresponding ZAP! Receivables tool for open and history transactions is in testing, awaiting market proof of concept of the Payables tool. If market acceptance is strong, the Receivables tool is scheduled for release by October 31, 2013. Sales Order Processing historical transaction import is scheduled for a third phase of development.

ZAP! Integration of Payables Transactions follows the 2010 release of Computeration’s ZAP! Integration tool for batch integration of General Ledger, Payable, Receivables, and Sales Order Processing transactions. Based on GP’s eConnect, the tool has user-friendly error messages and an Excel interface. It’s compatible with both GP 2010  and GP 2013.
