Microsoft Dynamics GP provided IMP with a 150 percent increase in order processing, and SalesPad Data Collection workflow helped streamline the order process and provide more accurate and efficient distribution. For IMP this meant an increase from 20 orders a day per person to as many as 50 orders per day per person. All of the customer and inventory data employees need is at their fingertips for easy and more effective processing.
Making use of handheld barcode scanners that work in conjunction with
IMP also needed to find a way to send commission data to their 35 sales reps in real time. Using a portal designed to utilize Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), the sales reps are now able to receive their checks electronically and access the portal remotely to see their commission earnings.
