With more than 11,000 attendees at this year’s Convergence, the hype was up there and in a city where fun was had by all. New Orleans didn’t disappoint and although the week was quite a whirlwind of activity, we’ve summed up our top three favorite parts.
Deep Dive Sessions: For customers, Convergence is a week-long school to help you use Microsoft Dynamics software to the best of its ability. General sessions are valuable to see product roadmaps and gather upgrade information, but deep dive sessions took attendees to a whole new level. Attendees were able to follow in-depth demonstrations and learn how to get the most out of their software, step-by-step, bringing back valuable tips to offices around the world.
Networking, Networking, Networking: In addition to networking with Microsoft Executives, partners, and ISVs, customers were able to connect with peers in similar situations. Convergence had a plethora of opportunities to meet, engage, and connect with people you don’t normally have access to. Attendees could also participate in Roundtable Discussions for more meaningful discussions on software experiences.
Hands-On Learning: For those of us who learn from doing, there were hands on labs available throughout the conference where users could test out their newly learned tips and techniques. People were able to run through various exercises designed to help users become familiar and comfortable with new features and functionalities at their own pace.
Convergence 2013 was a great opportunity to learn more about your current and possible Microsoft Dynamics solutions. There is so much to see and do at this conference that it’s really difficult to get it all in.
