Convergence 2013, the annual Microsoft Dynamics conference, took place last week  in New Orleans.  By all accounts it was a major success.  We hosted more than 80 clients and prospects and enjoyed a week full of innovative technologies, inspirational discussions, expert presentations and fun events. Here are some thoughts from our team, on the front line. We asked our pros:

What was the best part of Convergence 2013?

Stan Logan, Chief Operating Officer: The best part of Convergence was seeing the excitement our people share over our ERP and CRM practices. The clients I met were equally enthusiastic about our offerings and our people.

Ginny Ferguson, Client Account Manager: The best part of Convergence for me was being able to provide my clients with real-time answers to their questions or issues. We were able to get quick answers by either meeting with product experts from Microsoft, our own talented consultants/solution architects or key developers from the various solution providers in the expo hall.

Carol Hammer, Client Account Manager: The best part was the sense of community Convergence promotes. The relationships that are fostered among the Sikich team, our clients, third-party vendors and Microsoft are so valuable and lasting.

Tammy Rempfer, Client Account Manager: I enjoyed having the opportunity to sit with customers and prospects in a casual setting and listening to them discuss their ideas and needs in a candid and spontaneous manner. I was also thrilled to see their excitement over the possibilities of additional functionality they could use to make Microsoft Dynamics NAV even better.

Amanda Evans, Account Executive: The best part was seeing the Sikich community of partners, consultants, account executives, valued clients, Microsoft staff and ISV sponsors come together at our client appreciation event. We had the largest Sikich group yet and it makes us even more excited for our future growth. I also enjoyed the interactive discussion that our clients had with Microsoft executive Michael Ehrenberg. There were many intriguing topics discussed and it's always interesting to get the executive-level insight.

Dee Grice, Technology Consultant: The best part was all the information we were able to gather on Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013, update procedures and the web client. I feel much more prepared to tackle updates and advise clients as to what is in the future for GP.

Check our social media channels early next week to get a glimpse of the photos we took throughout the week, including those from our Client Appreciation Event on Wednesday evening. We’re already looking forward to Convergence 2014!
