Microsoft Unveils New Microsoft Dynamics for Retail

At the National Retail Federation's annual conference, Microsoft has announced it latest Microsoft Dynamics for Retail. This latest release extends the capabilities and offers new enhancements that are designed to give retailers end-to-end search-based e-commerce, a true omnichannel commerce engine, and next-generation point of sale (POS).

Microsoft Dynamics for Retail has helped businesses in over 38 countries and continues to build upon the solid foundation of its end-to-end, omnichannel solution. Microsoft's global customers include Marc Jacobs, Diane von Furstenberg, Edwin Watts Golf, and Lotus F1 Team. Microsoft showcased these companies at the conference, often called retail's BIG Show, and demonstrated why they chose Microsoft Dynamics for Retail over the competition.

Many of Microsoft's retail customers are also making use of Office 365 in order to increase employee collaboration and make it easier to share best practices, introduce new innovations, and run promotions. Some of the retail customers using Office 365 include Tesco, JC Penny, and Helly Hansen.

Microsoft recognizes that retailers are a crucial component of the global economy, accounting for 18% of the GDP in the United States and providing people with over 41 million jobs. Microsoft remains committed to offering retail solutions that will allow companies to stay competitive in an era where customers have a variety of in-store and online options for selecting and purchasing competing products.
