Original Post:

In past versions of Microsoft Dynamics GP if you needed Collections Management you had to buy the Advanced Management Edition of the software. This could be quite an expensive leap if you just wanted this one feature, but every user license price increased.

Now, in Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 you can buy Collections Management for a one time fee of $3,500. You do not need to buy the full Extended Pack for $10,000. This is one of the four Additional Packs available for Microsoft Dynamics GP - beyond the Dynamics GP 2013 Starter Pack and Dynamics GP 2013 Extended Pack.

  • Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 Collections Management Pack: $3,500

If you need to reduce your accounts receivable balances, Collections Management can help you manage your collections call, create collections letters and keep track of the customer’s status. Minimize collections workload, improve your cash flow, and reduce bad debt expense with customizable information views and automated bad debt management tools.

According to our client Amax Inc. in the distribution industry, this functionality is worth it. In their Dynamics GP case study they mentioned, “The collections management functionality helped Amax reduce days of sales outstanding by more than 30 days to a new record low, which translates to significantly improved cash flow.”

So if you are interested in getting Collections Management for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 it has now become more affordable than ever.

Get a full description of the other three Additional Packs available for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013.

  • Customization Pack: $6,000
  • Extended Human Resources and Payroll Pack: $7,000
  • SmartList Builder Pack: $2,000

For existing customers: according to the Dynamics GP 2013 Upgrade policies, if you purchased Microsoft Dynamics GP BEFORE October 1, 2012, and you already have Collections Management, then you should receive it for free when you upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013.

  1. I agree that this is really good news. I have had several customers that really needed Collections and there are no other ISV products available.
