After completing both courses you will be able to:

1) Define the four general principles of revenue recognition;

2) List the steps to separate, allocate and recognize revenue for multiple element arrangements;

3) Apply the Residual Method of revenue recognition for software multiple element arrangements;

4) Apply the Relative Selling Price Method of revenue recognition for non-software multiple element arrangements;

5) Define VSOE and how it is used in multiple element transactions;

6) Define ESP and how it is used in the relative selling price method;

7) Define and apply the percentage of completion, completed contract, and zero margin methods of accounting for contracts;

8) Understand the scope and timing of the FASB IASB Revenue Recognition.
