The Top 100 list by Dynamics World recognizes the individuals who contribute the most to the Microsoft Dynamics channel.  If you are a regular ERP Software Blog reader you will be familiar with some of the 2011 nominees including Linda Rose (RoseASP), Sandeep Walia (Ignify), and yours truly, Anya Ciecierski (CAL Business Solutions). See the 2011 list of nominees here.

More than 25,000 votes from 15,000 unique voters participated in selecting the 260 nominees. Selections were based on a number of criteria including the number of years experience, MVP status, those that run blogs, forums and Dynamics based sites, and those with senior positions within organizations, as well as those that have created products and modules for Dynamics.

I thought it was interesting that the authors of the list said the list is not necessarily looking for the best developer in the world, but those that influence others. And they put a lot of thought into what the power of influence really means.

Since co-founding the ERP Software Blog and CRM Software Blog in 2009 it has been my privilege to work with many of the top Microsoft Dynamics partners in the industry. And I can only hope that I have influenced them, as well as our 30,000+ monthly readers, in a positive way, to see the value in providing relevant, educational, “real”  information to assist software buyers.

It certainly is an honor to be counted among Dynamic’s big names like Kirill Tatarinov, Doug Kennedy and Doug Burgum.  It seems like other nominees, like blogger Christina Phillips, marketing guru Cheryl Strege, and community blogger Nick Hoban, were just as surprised as I was to see their name on the list.  As Christina says, “it’s an honor just to be nominated”. But it would be fun to win too. So if you want to vote for me, Anya Ciecierski, click here for the direct voting link to poll 8.

The online polling ends on the 29th of April and the final list will be published in May 2011.

If I win I doubt I will get a pretty gold statue or even a plaque to hang on my wall. But it will give me something to tweet about, and that is always helpful!
