How to “Escape” Dynamics GP Implementation Baggage

By now the story is legend:  A JetBlue flight attendant gets into an argument with a passenger who was trying to remove a bag from the overhead bin while the plane was still taxing after landing. The bag strikes the flight attendant in the head, he then publicly (and profanely) announces to all passengers that [...]

By now it is likely you have either seen it or heard the buzz surrounding the movie Inception which released to theatres last Friday. The basic premise of dream (subconscious) [...]

Game-Set-Match – Dynamics GP outlasts the competition!

The longest match in the history of professional tennis recently took place at Wimbledon when American tennis player John Isner won the decisive fifth set (70 to 68) of his match against Frenchman Nicolas Mahut.  The incredible marathon match lasted for three days and took over 11 hours to complete. Obviously to endure a match [...]

Don’t Blow The Call – Implement Dynamics GP 2010

The blown call this week by a first base umpire costing Detroit Tigers pitcher Armando Galarraga’s that rarest of baseball feats – a perfect game –  has ignited considerable debate and controversy regarding the expansion of the use of instant replay in baseball. No Fooling – 3 Dynamics GP Users For $1!

One of my favorite days of the year is April 1st   aka April Fool’s Day.  In our family the excitement of this day is second only to opening day for baseball (the subject of my next blog) and the sophistication of the pranks we play on each other has grown over the years from the simple [...]

Dynamics GP – Love at First Sight!

Valentine’s Day celebrates relationships, some brand new, others long lasting.  Beyond the obligatory flowers and chocolate, ongoing romance endures for many reasons, which any good advice to the lovelorn columnist can elaborate on far better than I (although going on 30 years of marriage I must have done at least a few things right!) I [...]

One cannot help but be caught in the “crossfire” of the late night programming war between NBC, Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien.  As of this post, negotiations were still ongoing as the various sides try to reach agreement on how to oust Conan from the Tonight Show, only seven months after he took it over from [...]

And the winner is…Microsoft Dynamics GP!

With the Critics Choice and Golden Globes awards just behind us and the Academy Awards coming up on March, our mindset is collectivly focused on “the best of”. What if there were an awards ceremony for the best ERP software – what would the “categories” be ? (Maybe Conan O’Brien can host if he is [...]

You Lie – My ERP Implementation Failed!

Civility (or rather the lack thereof) has come under fire lately, with several newsworthy and well publicized incidents capturing our attention. From Congressional  “shout outs” at the President to the interrupting of award show speeches to profanity laced outbursts from athletes (boy what a surprise that is), it seems that impolite behavior and bad manners [...]

Dynamics GP – The Beat Goes On

While the worldwide frenzy over the death of Michael Jackson reaches fever pitch this week, my own personal take on this tragedy reflects on the timelessness of his music. …..This idea that an ERP solution is at best a five year investment is, in my opinion, nonsense. Dynamics GP has a proven track record of changing with the times, all the while continuing to provide meaningful informaton and usable functionality to its users. And while its legacy, unlike that of Michael Jackson’s, might not endure forever, you can rest assured that your initial investment will continue to be relevant and valuable for many, many years to come.
