href="http://www.premiercomputing.com/dynamics/GP%20modules/Business%20Intelligence/FS_FRx.pdf">FRx. Instead, Microsoft will be replacing FRx with a new tool called Management Reporter. Management Reporter (aka MR) has been designed to look, feel and act just like FRx, so the learning curve for most should be fairly small. Management Reporter will also be written in a better language and run on a SQL database instead of an Access database.

If you are a current Dynamics GP user you will have the option of either FRx or the new Management Reporter tool when you upgrade your current system to Dynamics GP 2010. New customers, however, will receive Management Reporter with their new system without FRx being an option.

There is also some word that Forecaster will also eventually be rolled into a later version of Management Reporter.

In time, Management Reporter should eventually become a much stronger tool than FRx. But, as always, it is hard to say goodbye to something that has worked so well for so many. But don’t panic if you are not going to let your beloved FRx go so easily. Microsoft has plans to support FRx through the Dynamics GP V10 support cycle which should end sometime around October 2017. So you will be able to can keep using your trusted report building friend a little while longer.

As always, if you have any questions about these new Dynamics GP tools and changes, the best place to get answers is a <a

This means that current Dynamics GP customers who are using the older V8.0 of Dynamics GP will no longer be able to rely on Microsoft for support of their ERP system. Microsoft had originally planned to expire support for V8.0 on October 9, 2007, but because of the overwhelming requests from customers and partners they decided to extend the expiration date to October 13, 2009.

If you are currently using Dynamics GP V8.0, don’t worry: you will still be able to work with one of Microsoft’s Certified Partners for support. However, now may be a good time to think about upgrading to the current version. Dynamics GP V8.0 was released back in 2004 and has since been replaced with the current version, Dynamics GP V10. As you can imagine, there have been several upgrades made to the features and functionality in the newer version. To find out about the changes made in V10, you can review the Enhancements Brochure which outlines all the cool new features. And for more helpful information about V10, you can visit our website for Brochures, White Papers, and other module-specific documents that we have made available to help you with your research.

So, if your company is not using Dynamics GP to run your business, what are you waiting for? Wouldn’t you feel better knowing that you are using a system from one of the most trusted names in software? A company who listens to their customers? And, has <a

The thought of migrating data, re-training employees, implementing the system, and possible downtime is more than any manager wants to endure. Especially now with economic times as they are, it is hard for a business to justify the time and expense involved.

However, now may be the perfect time to switch to a new accounting system. One that is able to grow as your company grows. One that has a familiar user interface that won’t take employees hours of re-training to learn. An accounting system from one of the largest, well-known and trusted names in the software industry. One like Microsoft Dynamics GP!

Right now, Microsoft has made it easier and more affordable than ever to purchase a new accounting system. With promotional offerings like flexible payment options that let you reduce your upfront investment with affordable annual payments, discounts of up to 50% when migrating to Dynamics GP from a competitive solution, and service rebates that can be applied towards the cost of implementation and services costs, there may not have been a better time to make the switch.

Of course, when you are ready to make the important decision of purchasing a new accounting system you will need to find a knowledgeable and experienced partner to work with. That’s where we can help. <a

Fortunately, Microsoft makes training options that are easily available and accommodate different peoples’ style of learning.

Trying to perform daily tasks with a solution like Microsoft Dynamics GP without proper training can lead to unnecessary frustration. Although Microsoft Dynamics GP is extremely user-friendly, getting employees properly trained can shorten the amount of time it takes to complete daily activities. Training can give you a better return on your solution investment, help strengthen your employees’ skills, and boost productivity.

And doesn’t everyone appreciate a productive employee?

Microsoft has several easy and convenient training options available for Dynamics GP. First, companies with a current qualifying service plan can access free on-line training available through the Customer Source website. The website has well over 100 e-learning courses available to all employees with a unique user login. Employees are able to take the online courses at a time and place that is convenient for them. They can also track their training progress as they complete each of their specified training courses. And, if they want more reference material, they can always print or download a pdf copy of any of the course training manuals.

Second, Microsoft offers on site classroom training through authorized learning centers or from a Microsoft Certified Partner. For some, it may be easier to learn in a classroom environment, offering employees a chance to ask questions and interact with a certified instructor or a Microsoft Dynamics GP consultant. Classroom training facilities are located throughout the US and can easily be found by searching for your nearest location from within the Customer Source website.

So, whether you have a new employee that needs some training, or a current employee who wants to sharpen their skills, there is a way to get them the training that will best fit their learning style.

Some of it may even be available for FREE!

For more information about Microsoft Dynamics GP training options in or near the state of Utah, please contact <a
