Pricing Change for Microsoft Dynamics GP Users

    Email | Print

Microsoft has announced pricing changes that will go into effect on July 1, 2014 for customers currently on any Dynamics GP version other than 2013.

If you think you’ll need additional users within the next year, you should consider purchasing them before the price jump. Starting July 1, user pricing will increase up to $500 per user.

Current User PriceNew User Price (as of 7/1/2014)
    BRL Business Essentials$2250$2600
    BRL Advanced Management$2985-$3980 tieredNo change
MBL Professional$1850-$2100 tiered$2600 (elimination of all price tiers)
    MBL Standard$750No change
    MBL User Based Pricingn/a$2600

To check which version you are currently on (Business Ready Licensing- BRL or Module Based Licensing- MBL) contact DFC Consultants or log in to CustomerSource. If your system is called Professional or Standard, you are on MBL. If it says Business Essentials or Advanced Management then you are on BRL.

Once you upgrade to GP 2013, you will keep all of the users you currently own, but any additional come with a price tag of $3,000.

What’s the bottom line? If you think you’ll need additional users, purchase before July 1 and before you upgrade to GP 2013.
