Microsoft support techs are posting videos on their Support & Services blog to simply provide more complex instructions to customers. Step-by-step instructions are very useful in most cases, but a quick “how-to” demo is the quickest way to get the step-intensive points across. I have to admit, if I only listened to the videos, my ears would be ‘tuning out’, but with the advantage of the demonstration, I feel that the directions are crystal clear!
Samples of videos include “Keeping Report Writer in Synch with Word Templates”, “Adding the Developer Tab in Microsoft Word” and “Security Tips for Word Documents within Dynamics”. They range from 2 to 7 minutes and some include tips that can be used in the Office products along with the Dynamics products. I have been told they will continue to add videos in the future as they have already seen a positive response from users.
