The Microsoft Dynamics development team has released Dynamics GP 2010 R2 ahead of schedule. Although this is considered a minor release it contains quite a bit of new functionality. Some of the more significant new enhancements are as follows:
- Word Template Generator
- New SQL Reporting Services Reports
- Drilldown from SQL Reporting Services
- Business Analyzer (both the desktop application and the GP client)
- New Email Features
- Dynamics Security Synchronization Utility
- New Features and functions in Business Portal
This was a hot topic at Convergence last month and the initial feedback has been extremely positive. The following slide was shared in the Microsoft Dynamics GP general session:
